Sis, Land The Plane!
“What goes up must come down.”
We say it all the time not realizing how it pertains to everything that has ever gone up. Some of us have put up (or put up with) things that, at this point, need to come down. The strongholds preventing us from doing certain things we desire to do need to come down. The walls we put up to keep us safe (but block our vulnerability) need to come down. Tears that are pent up in the name of being the strong woman in the room need to come down.
On my way back to the airport today, I watched a few planes land, and it brought this revelation: landing the plane is the only way to arrive at the destination. Other than that, you keep it in the air.
How long have you kept the God given gift, assignment or desire IN THE AIR?
It’s in your head = air.
It’s on the pages of your journal = air.
You’ll get to it when you have more time = air.
You still have to do more research = air.
You don’t want to talk about it = air.
Lingering apologies = air.
Lingering unforgiveness = air.
I figured it out though, sis. We leave it in the air because it’s safe. In the air, it’s hidden where no one can see it. It’s above the storms and weather. It’s in the pseudo serene realm of unproductivity. But it wasn’t meant to be there forever, AND it’s holding you back from your God ordained destination!
I’m pretty sure what God has put inside of you to do preserves the integrity of God as it serves to be a solution to someone else.Your time is now sis, land the plane! Let go and give in to the gravitational force of the Holy Spirit pulling on you to release what you need to so you can get to your destination.
Need a starting point? Let me help you.
Too often, we (yes, I said we) leave things undone because it’s of one reason or another. But is this what we want? I wrote a bite sized ebook called, Stop Stopping!, that addresses reasons why we are inconsistent and strategies to break up with inconsistency. Make sure you get your free copy before leaving here today.
Sis, if God is calling you to start a Youtube channel, stop thinking about it, and start it. Youtube can change your life too, just like it has for so many others. I love it because it allows me to build connections with people all over the world!
If God is calling you to create content on Tiktok or one of these other social media platforms, publish something within the next 24 hours.
Content planners, ChatGPT, and personal planners like this one are going to be your best friend in this season.
Perhaps your inkling is more internal, and you need to release past trauma or experiences that have kept you bound or believing small. Now is the time to talk to someone about it. Again, don’t leave it in the air…land the plane!
Love and prayers,
Meshele
